Children's Ministry Volunteer

Children’s Ministry offers many programs throughout the year to give children opportunities to learn Bible stories and verses in a variety of fun and enjoyable ways.

We provide a professionally staffed nursery every Sunday morning for children under 3. We offer Sunday School for children age 3 years old through 5th grade where they learn Bible stories reinforced with fun activities. Classes are small and age appropriate. We also offer seasonal programs such as First Communion training, Lent activities, Vacation Bible School, a Christmas Program and fun events.

Ministry Goals

• To connect children to a Christian community.
• Children learn God’s word in fun and meaningful ways.
• Provide opportunities for children to develop relationships with Christ, caring adults, and each other.
• Grow the children’s faith by encouraging them to be good Christians by serving others and giving of themselves

Team Member Roles

• Teach,
• Assist, or
• Prepare supplies.

We are always looking for adults to help spread Jesus’ love to the children either by helping out behind the scenes or by working directly with the children. Training and materials are provided to make each job easier. We have all our volunteers complete a background check, so we know our children will be safe.

We are looking to begin some new areas in the children’s ministries, and we need volunteers to coordinate them. If interested, please let us know.
