Junior High Ministries

(The CIA - Christians In Action)

Living Spirit offers a confirmation ministry to and for youth in the 6^th, 7^th, and 8^th grades.  Each year on Reformation Sunday (the last Sunday in October), the 9^th graders who completed the program participate in the Rite of Affirmation of Baptism, also called Confirmation.

Our ministry offers two class times –

• Sunday mornings at our worship center (Churchill Elementary School) from 10:15 to 11:00.  These classes are led by Bryant Anderson and focus on Bible stories.

• Wednesday evenings 7 pm to 8:30 pm at Bruce and Mary Voss’ house (please call the church office for address and directions).  These sessions are led by Pastor Jamie and are thematic building from the Bible lessons taught on Sunday mornings.

Confirmation students and parents are expected to meet with Pastor Jamie at the beginning of their participation in this ministry to sign a covenant-agreement for the student’s level of participation in the ministry.

Besides the classes, the CIA ministry offers small groups, service projects, retreats, and worship conversations.
