Stewardship

The Stewardship Ministry is focused on deepening relationships with God through giving of financial resources, time and talents. The model we have adopted consists of presenting various opportunities for the congregation to give, thanking them regularly for their gifts and telling how those gifts are being used.

Ministry Goals

• To create deeper relationships with God
• To generate funds to support the ministries of our church such as Hesed House and others.
• To keep people informed of how their& contributions are making a difference in the lives of others.

We are in need of people who would like to be a part of this ministry. This ministry is widely confused with finances and budgets. In reality, stewardship is about a spiritual journey into deeper relationship with God.

Stewardship team members will be responsible for presenting various opportunities for giving, thanking members for their gifts, and telling the congregation of the difference their gifts have made in the lives of others.

Quarterly meetings will most likely be sufficient for this ministry. This is an excellent ministry for those who have a heart for fundraising and social work.
